a moment found within gentle hills
rolling hillsfriendly staffdisabled parking
the rolling hills are visible from rooms, the restaurant, and the spa. all staff were friendly. the real fire in the bar was a treat. the spa suite includes saunas, a steam room, and a hydro pool. spa beds face the wonderful view. the grounds offer space throughout, in the lounge, the dining room, and the bedroom.
i found that the unexpected distance from disabled parking to reception was difficult. slopes inside impacted my stay. there are no ground floor rooms. this reduced the quality of my stay.

our superior double room included a comfortable bed and offered superb views. tea, coffee, and biscuits were provided. the bathroom offered ample space. i found it very restful and pleasant.

EXCELLENT stay!
great staffamazing viewsfantastic chef
I ABSOLUTELY enjoyed my stay. The spa treatments were really great, and the staff were friendly. The views from the room overlooked the golf course, SO picturesque! The food during dinner stood out. It was obvious that the chef took PRIDE in their work. Breakfast was also delicious. The eggs were cooked PERFECTLY on the buffet.
The Wi-Fi signal was not great, especially considering I needed to work remotely for a few hours.

The reception staff were helpful and cute. David was especially helpful and polite. The restaurant staff was very attentive and quickly addressed any needs. Marion on reception was a TOTAL joy, she assisted me when I missed my original night.

The room was spacious with a large double bed. I appreciated the very comfy and tidy environment it provided. The room also had a well-hidden mini fridge in a sliding cupboard, convenient for storing drinks. The bathroom was clean and big.

The spa included saunas, a steam room, and a pool with spa jets. I enjoyed the bowling alley. The hotel also provides a golf course. Breakfast offered plenty of choice in the morning and was very filling. I REALLY enjoyed it.

underwhelming stay with some issues
reasonable selectioninconsistent showerout-of-service lift
the breakfast was adequate with a reasonable selection. (i did like the pastries.)
I encountered a few problems . the shower temperature was inconsistent. It alternated between scalding hot and freezing cold with no in-between. also, i noticed that one of the lifts was out of service and this caused significant delays, especially during peak times. the stairs were quite a trek with luggage.

the breakfast was so nice it was plentiful and satisfying
i found out the taxi i booked through the hotel wasn't actually booked this caused me to arrive late to a wedding i also found the function noise levels excessive and there was no hot water in the morning
