Hellidon Lakes Hotel, Daventry

My weekend at the hotel was filled with disappointments. The service was lacking, and my room was not cleaned properly. Despite some well-maintained facilities and a peaceful location, the poor dining experience and unhelpful staff overshadowed any positives. I definitely expected better for the amount spent.

I had a rather mixed experience at this resort spa. On the positive side, the staff was genuinely friendly and accommodating, and they provided a great dining experience during dinner. However, the cleanliness and maintenance of hotel facilities were notably disappointing, particularly in the spa area. Overall, it felt more like a budget stay rather than a luxurious retreat.

My stay at the resort spa had its ups and downs. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, complete with a lovely view of the golf course, although the furniture felt a bit past its prime. The service was commendable despite the staff being under pressure, but the dining experience left much to be desired. Overall, it was a mixed bag for value considering the issues in dining and room assignment.
